Double Dragon: Broken District is a side-scrolling martial arts story told over four missions. After your dojo burns down, you choose Mina or Ken and set out to find a missing trainer, with an AI-controlled sibling fighting beside you.

The fighting is built around chains of punches and kicks. You dodge enemy windups, throw foes, pick up and swing staffs, and use Twin Spirit attacks. You can swap between the two heroes during play. The look is retro 2D, and it is a one-player game.

Beat-em-ups are loved for the feel of a good combo, and this one gives you a whole kit: punches, kicks, grabs, dodges and Twin Spirit attacks. The AI sibling helps in a fight, and the four missions keep the story compact.
